Datura metal, also known by locals(Malaysia) as kecubong, terung pengar, terung pungak ,it's reported poisonous. The herb can reach a height of up to 6 feet. There are also species that can grow beyond this height. Plant this area moist warm climates throughout the world. Besides dariapada grows wild, it is also cultivated for use as ingredients in traditional medicine.
Each of the plant is poisonous, especially the seeds and leaves. poisons will be lost when it is cooked or dried. Hiosin and hiosamin is among the many alkaloids found in fruits, leaves, twigs and roots. Seed plants is a major source of this compound. Each of these compounds have properties of anti koligernik and slightly narcotic effect.
Symptoms of nausea was seen feeling thirsty, dry mouth, eyes expansion of children and others. In high concentrations it can cause a person is experiencing high blood pressure, seizures, coma and can be fatal.
